About me

Hi, my name is Umberto Michelucci. If you are reading this you may wonder who I am. You have already my name. I am a mountain lover, in particular I love to run on, around and in them I have participated in a few events, marathons, ultra marathons in the Alps mainly (although I tried a few city marathons).

I ran the Jungfrau Marathon, couple of times the Aletsch Halfmarathon, the Zugspitz Super trail (70 Km), I climbed a few 4000 m peaks in the Alps (Schreckhorn, Dent Blanch, and many others). I spent two months in Nepal climbing two 6000 m peaks, and two weeks in a remote glacier in Alaska climbing unnamed peaks there. Wonderful experiences.

At the moment my main project is the Sardona Ultra Trail (www.sardona-ultratrail.com). Is an ultra trail running event in the Swiss Alps that I am organizing. By the way, have you already registered?
